1st Get-Together in Bangalore, Dated 21st September 2003:

Agrisamaj Group's 1st Get-together was held in Bangalore on 21st September 2003. It was a 100% succesful gettogether with all the 4 members of Agrisamaj Group who are presently in Bangalore (Anup, Vinod, Vishvajit,& Poonam ) attending the same.

It was like a sudden plan made on Sunday morning to have a gettogether in the evening & the venue decided was Cafe Coffee Day ,Cunningham Road,Bangalore. Day started at about 6 in the evening at Cafe Coffee Day.

Would tell you in breif about all the members :-

1. Mr.Anup Mhatre has done BE from Vivekanand,basically from Sion & running his own business in bangalore since last two and half years.
2. Ms. Poonam Gharat has too completed her BE from NYSS,who is basically from Kurla & working with HP & she is here since more than 1 month.
3. Mr. Vishvajit Juikar done his M Tech from IIT ,native place around Mumbai & working with Ge Group here in Bangalore since about last 4 years.
4. Mr. Vinod Mhatre has done BE from DY Patil College,who is basicaly from New Mumbai & is working with Yokogawa Bluestar here since about last 6 months.

It was a great evening sitting outside in the Coffee Day enjoying the pleasant weather which Bangalore is famous for. It was really exciting & interesting to know about each other in detail, people took our own time in understanding each other. Even though Vishvajit & Vinod were staying about 20 kms from the place where get-together took place, it was really nice on their part to take out time & come all the way.

After that it was decided to have dinner together so that it gives an opportunity to spend some more time & to know each other much better & hence all went to a Chinese Restaurant called Green Onion where all had their dinner together. All of them got mixed up well & really felt as if they knew each other since along time & it was just like a family reunion. Day ended at 11:00 when all the gang got scattered.

I hope that after seeing the sucess of this meeting, all must be eager to have one in Mumbai too & i promise that one such would definitely be on the cards somewhere during Diwali coz that is the time when all the members would be at home back in & around Mumbai enjoying along with their family members.

Once again sincere thanks to Mr. Anup Mhatre, Mr. Vinod Mhatre, Mr. Vishvajit Juikar & Ms. Poonam Gharat for making the 1st successful get-together of Agrisamaj Group.

 

2nd Get-Together in Mumbai, Dated October, 2003

Agrisamaj gettgotether took place in Mumbai at D-Block Canteen of IES King George School, Dadar on 25th October, 2003 at 2:00 PM.

This was the 2nd gettogether of our agricommunity and the 1st gettogether in the Mumbai. The gettogether was a great success as cyber friends from agri community got together.

Eventhough it was on short notice, but we've managed, mainly due the great people we have.

Unfortunately, there were a lot of members who were not able to attend this gettogether due to some reasons.

The Day Began........ We were scheduled to meet at 2:00 PM. at IES King George School. Namratha Gharat was the first person to reached before time. Myself and Anup was bit late to reach there. Till 2:30 PM. we were only three, keeping our eyes on the door to see people walking in. Time was passing and numbers started increasing. To see people walking in the one thing in common was mind rejoice. The event we started with introducing ourselves to each other, knowing each other, and cracking jokes (by Vishal and Kirit), We all shared our ideas, views to promote our group by spreading the word, and also had disscussion on various topics. To see many people from our community was a memorable experience for all, and new friendships begin on the day. People were exchanging phone numbers and addresses with the promise of further contact. The expressions on peoples faces was indescribable. Around 4:30 we all went to Restrurant called D.P.'s where we had our snacks together. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to discuss more topics, but was a real great start. It's important to remember that we are in the “starting” phase of promoting our group. "Our little - big - community..... We respect and Proud to be Agri". The event lasted for about 3 hours and ended with a group photo taken outside in D.P.'s Restrurant in the warm sunshine. The event was a success and a fun time had by all. Ofcourse missed all of you who were not here for the gettogether.

Year End 2003 Picnic to Arnala Resort, Dated 28th December 2003

Well the big day has come and gone.......Year end 2003 gathering was a great success!!!!

I take warm pleasure in sharing with you a re-cap of our successful picnic (3rd get-together) that was held on 28th Dec. 2003 in Aranala Resort, (Vasai). The Picnic was a great success and was enjoyed by all, We had a good attendance and the occasion was a most enjoyable one, with 13 attendees including children.

Now ON with the Re-Cap...........

The day began with a sunday morning at 8:00am were half of the gang met at Dadar St. Near SwamyNarayan Mandir, The journey started from Dadar Rly St. at 8:30am on the Western Railway local to Virar. Other half of the gang met us at Vasai Station. Finally all of us got togethr at Virar Arnala ST Bus stand. Around 11:00 am we took a bus to Arnala . The journey was a pleasant one, In about 20 minutes we reached our destination. We spent atleast half hour in choosing the best resort. Finally we decided Anand Resort our picnic spot. The day started with having the breakfast with Usal Pav and Kandhaphoa, We all got scattered, guys was exicted to dip into swming pool, some started to pass their time in their own way, some went on site seeing.

At 1:30 we all had our lunch together, that gave us an opportunity to know each other much better. We all got mixed up well, people started sharing their past exeriences, cracking jokes & making fun. After lunch we all continued to dip into pool, everyone started bogeying to the heart-thumping dance music, we all were totally rocked with the music and it was lovely to see some funny scene happening. A funfilled day was spent splashing in the resort's swimming pool. The music, the food, and of course great people made it a fabulous day.

Then the dusk approaches and we started our return journey. It was really a nice picnic with lots of fun. The joys of the picnic were many ,there were laughter and love among all as we celebrated the true meaning of family under the beautiful sky & pleasant weather.

The event ended with a group photo taken outside of Anand Resort in the warm sunshine. At the end of the day everyone said it was our best get-together ever and the most fun they have ever experienced. Everyone enjoyed the music and other fun activities, people will be talking about it for months & months.

Our Sincere THANKS to Anup Mhatre, Kirit Mhatre, Namrata Gharat, Poonam Gharat, Rohit Mokal, Rupesh Patil, Samar Gharat, Saroj Tate, Baby Sneha, Varsha Gharat, Vinod Mhatre & Vishal Mokal whose presence made the picnic successful and enjoyable event and special thanks to Mr. Viswajit Juikar who came all the way from Pen, (Village: Pandapur) to attend this Picnic.

To all those who were not able to attend, we give our love and our sweet memories/ snapshot.

 

Aswad Restaurant , Dadar 13th May 2007

Unnati Kothekar on the forum “AAGRI” community started the thread.
With a good response from the group members, it was decided to meet again on Sunday, May 13, 2007, at Shivaji Park, something like this has long been expected.

(Click on the Image to View Large)	Around 4:00 PM pm a crowd started gathering slowly at first, then more quickly. Mind was full of happiness and excitement to see the faces. Dinesh Mhatre, Chetan Wajekar, Agney(sunny) & Snehal Thakur were among the first to reach. As many as possible however all gathered together.Total 16 members was present. Now What Next? A question arises, the beach was opted first, but seeing that not a good place to sit & munch, then the Aswad Restaurant spotted to spend the time & have a fun. All started off for nearby Aswad Restaurant with excitement and great enthusiasm.
It was really exciting & interesting to see each other in person. The fun started by cracking jokes, discussions, chitchatting. The gathering becomes more exciting, more delicious when Manisha and Anup joined lately; all of them got mixed up well. Overall the discussion started off with general discussions about the “AGRI Community” – YES We Proud to be Agri". Finally everyone had a dinner together and spent a nice time with each other.
	The get-together was full of gags, laughter, discussions and much fun was had by all. The evening meeting was larger and even more interesting. Unfortunately time started moving faster, finally all sauntered back to the park for a final group snap. Thanks to Mr. Prasad Keni who captured the sweet memories of the beautiful event in his camera. It was very difficult for the members to say goodbye at the end of the get-together.
	Sincere thanks to all the group members Nitin, Yojana, Dinesh, Manisha & Anup whose presence made the event successful and enjoyable and special thanks to Mr. Chentan Wajekar who came all the way from Uran to attend the gathering. A special thanks to Unnati who planned this event successful. We look forward for a next possible meet soon and hope it will give a chance again to meet the community people who could not attend the get-together.
